Business Controller

Geosystems is divided into several business units.

 The new Business Controller supports the Machine Control Division and reports to the Financial Director.

Within the team, the Business Controller analyses revenue, profitability, capital employed and implement plans to improve these areas. He/she prepares worldwide monthly forecasts, annual budgets and mid-term financial plans. Working closely with the local Management and Accounting he/she monitors and ensures compliance with accounting standards, policies and practices and actively supports activities worldwide. He/she also participates in the improvement of processes, tools and reports.

 

Educational Background 

Degree in business economics with a focus on finance, accounting, business administration or comparable qualification with professional experience in the spheres mentioned above.

Tasks competencies

 -         Preparation of monthly reports, global forecasts, annual budgets and presentations for management

-         Analyze sales orders, margins, variances and operating costs and develop advice and suggestions for improvements

-         Evaluation and controlling of business plans, budgets, variances

-         Controlling of (sales) pricing based on product standard cost calculation

-         Project controlling of remote locations

-         Support and overview of production planning

-         Cost center cost controlling

-         Active participation in improvement processes

 

Professional Expertise

 -         >2 years of experience in a similar organization, preferably international eg. in an industrial company, developing, producing                   and    delivering technical products

-         Ability to analyze complex business and accounting problems and to develop solutions to such problems

-         Operational and leadership experience in an international setting (matrix and line organization)

-         Good knowledge of KPIs and key financial ratios

-         Profound negotiation and presentation skills
