Organisation

You will be located in our divisional headquarter in Søborg, Denmark or in Malmö, Sweden and domestic and international travel is only required for this role at a moderate level.

The Senior Regional Controller is responsible for developing and executing financials plans, budgets and forecasts aligned on the established processes in Scandinavia, ensuring that the unit conducts thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

It is important for this role to challenge and support the 4 country presidents in the Nordics based on trends and financial analysis, and to identify financial risks within the region and develop strategies to mitigate them.

As Senior Regional Controller you report directly to the Senior Leadership Team, COO Hexagon Geosystems, Andreas Renulf, also providing market insights and strategic advice.

The candidate

The ideal candidate has minimum 5-10 years of experience within a similar role from a software and service organization, has good collaborational skills and experience, including the capability of providing guidance to the country presidents.

You hold excellent communication skills (written and verbal) including documentation and reporting. You have a strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations and best practices, and have excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. You are able to form strong relationships with internal stakeholders within both Leica Geosystems and Hexagon. You possess strong strategic thinking skills, problem-solving capabilities, responsibility and accountability, and are used to take on responsibility and ownership. If you started your career as a management consultant that would be the ideal experience to combine with financial controlling experience for this role.

You are flexible and out-of-the-box thinking with a keen sense for team spirit.

Key responsibilities:

-       Monitoring market trends, economic indicators to identify potential risks and opportunities

-       Safeguard compliance with financial regulations

-       Encourage collaboration and teamwork to achieve the goals

-       Scale up to foster a culture of continuous improvement, solution-oriented mind set and living a customer centric approach

-       If interested, also take on process ownership outside of the traditional controlling area

Qualifications:

-       Relevant Bachelor’s Degree (e.g. Finance, Accounting or related field), or equivalent combination of education and experience              5+ years, preferably within a global organization

-       Fluent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and proficiency in financial ERP systems and                    CRM(SAP, Sales Force)

-       Experience within M&A will be beneficial

-       Fluent English (verbal and written) is a pre-requisite. Additional languages (e.g. Danish or Swedish) would be viewed favorably
